Lake Burton's Family Fishing Lodge

Lake Burton's Family Fishing Lodge

Created for comfort and easy living, this fishing lodge is located at the mourth of a cove behind Hogg Island. This maintenance free lodge boasts wonderful opportunites for bird and duck watching, great fishing, and private spaces to relax and enjoy the peaceful  days. A Bald Eagle can be seen on many an afternoon swooping down for a catch.

The Great Room abounds with a spacious living area centering  around a focal stone Isokern fireplace made from volcanic cinders from Iceland . The large stone hearth makes warming up to a toasty fire a real treat. Nautural pine tongue and groove walls, a high vaulted pine beam ceiling,  and wrought iron chandeliers and custom railings tie together natural elements producing a comfortable space for relaxing and game playing. The oversized galley kitchen makes cooking a pleasure with functional prep space and laundry room/pantry. The Great Room opens to a screened porch and wrap around deck overlooking Lake Burton.
The master bedroom on the main floor has sliding glass door to  a private deck and sunning area, carpet and pine tongue and groove ceilings and a walk in closet.  The master bath has a shower, double vanity and separate water closet.
The guest room on main level has carpet and pine beamed ceilings, a full bath with shower and white beadboard and tile flooring.

A full length catwalk leads to the upstairs bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a full bath between them with a tub/shower, tile flooring and beadboard.
Awaken to lake views from the upstairs master bedroom  with reading/sunning balcony to get away for private time. High vaulted pine ceilings, carpet and a full bath with tub and separate water closet complete this perfect spot to relax and get away from pressures.
